This website is primarily designed for the Nanoose Quilting Guild members.
Therefore, the Members, Discussions and Photo Gallery pages can only be seen by members of the Group who have registered on this website.
How do I become a member of this website? If you are already a member of the Nanoose Quilters, then click on the top right button that says Log In, or click on the Members tab in the top menu bar. You will be prompted with a 'Sign Up' choice using either your e-mail or a pre-existing Google account. Clicking this will take you to the sign-up form. If you are not yet a member of the Nanoose Quilters, then contact Carolyn Shaw, website manager, using the 'Contact Us' tab in the top menu bar. The Nanoose Quilters Group is limited to 50 members.
How do I see the Members who are already signed up to this website? To see the other members, you first need to sign-up to this website yourself. See the 'How do I become a member of this website' FAQ. Once you are a member, you can then see the other members by looking at the 'Who We Are' selection in the top menu, and then clicking on the 'Members' choice.
Why can't I see my profile in the Members area?To make your profile visible in the Members page , you need to make your profile Public. This will make it only visible to other Members. Make sure you are logged in. Then look for the box at the upper right of the main window that has a small bell, a circle, and a downwards pointing chevron. Click on the chevron, and select 'Account'. Look for the button that says something like 'Make my profile Public' or similar. Once you click on that, others will be able to see you in the Members page.
How to I modify my profile? You can change the way others see you on our website. This includes the ability to change your profile to your name instead of your e-mail address, to add a picture, and to even add some personalized comments. To do this, make sure you are logged in. Then look for the box at the upper right of the main window that has a small bell, a circle, and a downwards pointing chevron. Click on the chevron, and select 'Profile'. This will take you to your profile page, and you'll find a box on the left hand side that has your login name and a button marked 'Edit'. Click on the Edit button, and then you will be able to change or add to various parts of your profile. Don't forget to save your changes when you are done.
How do I see what's going on?You can access the newsletters, events, and other announcements by clicking on the Info tab in the top menu bar, or by clicking on the What's Going On box near the bottom of the Home Page.
How do I make a new post or reply to an existing post in the Threads forum? You need to be a member of this website before you can interact in the Threads forum. Once you are a member of this website, you can then make new posts or reply to other posts. You can access this forum by clicking on the Threads tab in the top menu bar, or by clicking on the Let's Talk Quilting box near the bottom of the Home Page.
Why does the Threads page make me log in again? That is just the way the website works. There is a shortcut, however. When at the Threads page, instead of having to enter your login again, you can avoid this by refreshing your web page, and it seems that this will log you in automatically. Give it a try.
