Finally Finished

Ruler work on a scrap quilt.

I finally quilted my red and gold triangle scrap quilt. I had planned the design for quite a while before I took the plunge. I drafted a paper template for each of the two designs that I planned to quilt. I used these to mark the dots for the ruler to go to. Then I drew out and practiced the route so that there would be minimal backtracking and to quilt one row at a time. I left all of my mistakes in and I am fine with that.

The quilt has been washed to remove the chalk dots and has that Antique look now.

These are 6½ inch finished triangles. I used scraps of red and black to piece the triangles.
