I made this small (about 32 inches) quilt using a meter of grey ombre fabric that was a gift from my sister who is a quilter. She purchased it in Yellowknife. All the finished pieces other than the triangles are 1/2 inch in width.
This is a mini art quilt called Cowboy Trail, which is a beautiful secondary highway in AB. It takes one into the ranchland where the rolling foothills meet the majestic Rockies to the west. Most of the fabrics are hand-dyed.

Deanna, you always do such gorgeous, creative work. Love the landscape, and love your free motion work. ta da! And the grey ombre piece is lovely. Angled corners really set it off. Again, how beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
